My Lawn & Me!

I've spent the last week or so getting more familiar with this whole landscaping bizniss. I just wante a placed to post pictures so I can see the progress I've made.

This weekend I've been working on the little area next to the driveway, I spent two days weeding the bastage. What a job that was, and it was raining one of the days. I met so many worms. And I sunburned my backside, due to plumbers crack. :P

But it looks nice so far, so its worth it! Jeff and I bought two Flamingo Japanese Willows, and some neat looking potted plants. (The pink bushy things are the willows.)

The Geocaching Adventure Begins

Jeff and I were introduced to geocaching last week!

For those of you who have never heard of it, here's a description from their website (www.geocaching.com):
"Geocaching is a high-tech treasure hunting game played throughout the world by adventure seekers equipped with GPS devices. The basic idea is to locate hidden containers, called geocaches, outdoors and then share your experiences online. Geocaching is enjoyed by people from all age groups, with a strong sense of community and support for the environment."

We only got two this time, since it started getting dark. But we went down Wireless Road in Barrington, all the way to the Wireless Station. A very very cool place, Jeff got some great pics of it. It's a great excuse to get out of the house and go for a walk or hike. The bugs can get pretty bad though. I can't wait until we have a day off that's nice so we can go again. :)
